One of the recommendations is fish dish, fresh fishes are ordered from all over the country. And also“Donabe gohan”that rice is cooked in a pot with some seasonal ingredients.

Tai (sea bream)

Especially Tai (sea bream) is most popular here! Also in spring, Takenoko (bamboo shoots), Sakura shrimp. In summer, Ayu(sweetfish), Unagi(eel). In fall, Matsutake mushroom, Hamo (see eel). In winter, Kani (Japanese crab), Winter yellowtails.


Donabe (pot) is popular in Japan, the taste of rice that is made by Donabe is amazing!! You should try and enjoy real rice taste when you are in Japan.

Also if you order the course menu, 八寸(Hassun)will be served at first, This is like appetizer, putting couple of food together on 24cm dish with beautiful arrangement. This is the standard way for Japanese traditional course menu. It goes very well with Japanese sake. Experience Japanese traditional food!!
